Ms. Raveen Kaur Sandher is a highly accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon with a special interest inย Andrology, Microsurgery, and Genito-Urethral Reconstruction. She brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her clinical practice, research, and teaching.
Ms. Sandher began her academic journey atย Sheffield University, where she earned aย first-class BMedSci degree with honours, followed by herย medical degree (MBChB)ย in 2007. Her passion for urology led her to pursue anย NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowshipย at theย Freeman Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyneย in 2009.
During this time, she conducted groundbreaking research funded by prestigious organizations, includingย Cancer Research UK (CRUK), theย Royal College of Surgeons of England, andย The Urology Foundation.
In 2011, Ms. Sandher further enhanced her research capabilities by obtaining aย Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Researchย fromย Newcastle University. Her surgical training, completed in 2019, was followed by aย Post CCT Andrology Fellowshipย at the world-renownedย Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, where she honed her skills inย Andrology, microsurgery, and Genito-Urethral reconstruction.
Ms. Sandher was appointed as aย Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s Hospitalย in 2020. She is a published author, having contributed a book chapter in the field of Andrology, and has presented her research findings at national and international conferences. Her work has earned her prestigious awards, includingย best oral presentationsย at theย BAUS Academic Section 2015ย and theย Joint Meeting with the Royal College of Surgeons and North of England Surgical Society Annual Meeting 2013.
Committed to education, Ms. Sandher actively supervisesย postgraduate trainees and medical studentsย atย King’s College London, sharing her knowledge and passion for urology with the next generation of medical professionals.
