Ms. Raveen Kaur Sandher is a highly accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon with a special interest in Andrology, Microsurgery, and Genito-Urethral Reconstruction. She brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her clinical practice, research, and teaching.
Ms. Sandher began her academic journey at Sheffield University, where she earned a first-class BMedSci degree with honours, followed by her medical degree (MBChB) in 2007. Her passion for urology led her to pursue an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2009.
During this time, she conducted groundbreaking research funded by prestigious organizations, including Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and The Urology Foundation.
In 2011, Ms. Sandher further enhanced her research capabilities by obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research from Newcastle University. Her surgical training, completed in 2019, was followed by a Post CCT Andrology Fellowship at the world-renowned Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, where she honed her skills in Andrology, microsurgery, and Genito-Urethral reconstruction.
Ms. Sandher was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s Hospital in 2020. She is a published author, having contributed a book chapter in the field of Andrology, and has presented her research findings at national and international conferences. Her work has earned her prestigious awards, including best oral presentations at the BAUS Academic Section 2015 and the Joint Meeting with the Royal College of Surgeons and North of England Surgical Society Annual Meeting 2013.
Committed to education, Ms. Sandher actively supervises postgraduate trainees and medical students at King’s College London, sharing her knowledge and passion for urology with the next generation of medical professionals.
