Ms. Raveen Kaur Sandher is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist expertise in adult circumcision, andrology, microsurgery, and genito-urethral reconstruction. She brings extensive clinical, surgical, and academic experience to her role.
She graduated with a first-class BMedSci (Hons) and an MBChB from the University of Sheffield, and went on to complete an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Urology at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, in 2009. Her research has been supported by Cancer Research UK, the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and The Urology Foundation.
In 2011, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research from Newcastle University, followed by full surgical training in urology. She later completed a Post-CCT Fellowship in Andrology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, gaining advanced experience in complex male genital and reconstructive surgery.
Appointed as Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s Hospital in 2020, Ms. Sandher is a published researcher and contributor to leading academic texts in Andrology. Her work has been recognised at both national and international conferences, including awards for best presentations at BAUS and the Royal College of Surgeons.
Alongside her clinical work, Ms. Sandher actively teaches and supervises trainees and medical students at King’s College London, continuing her commitment to advancing urological education and patient care.
