Mr. Nkwam M. Nkwam is a skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon with a strong focus on Endourology, General Urology, and Urological Oncology. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at St George’s, University of London in 2007 and went on to achieve his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2010.
Mr. Nkwam completed his specialist training in Urology through the East Midlands training programme and was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Urol) in 2017. He further advanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) surgery and Endourology at Luton & Dunstable Hospital in 2018. In 2020, he performed the first HoLEP procedure at King’s College Hospital, London, showcasing his pioneering approach to urological care.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Nkwam is an accomplished academic. He is currently completing his Master of Philosophy in Prostate Cancer Diagnostics at Nottingham Trent University. With over 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including seven as the first author, his research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. His contributions to the field have been recognized with awards such as the East Midlands Trainee Medal (2017) and the Ian McCallum Research Prize (2018).
