Mr. Nkwam M. Nkwam is a skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon with a strong focus on Endourology, General Urology, and Urological Oncology. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at St George’s, University of London in 2007 and went on to achieve his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2010.
Mr. Nkwam completed hisย specialist training in Urologyย through theย East Midlands training programmeย and was awarded hisย Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Urol)ย in 2017. He further advanced his expertise by completing aย fellowship in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) surgery and Endourologyย atย Luton & Dunstable Hospitalย in 2018. In 2020, he performed theย first HoLEP procedure at King’s College Hospital, London, showcasing his pioneering approach to urological care.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Nkwam is an accomplished academic. He is currently completing hisย Master of Philosophy in Prostate Cancer Diagnosticsย atย Nottingham Trent University. With overย 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including seven as the first author, his research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences. His contributions to the field have been recognized with awards such as theย East Midlands Trainee Medal (2017)ย and theย Ian McCallum Research Prize (2018).
