Mr. Nkwam M. Nkwam is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interest in adult circumcision, Endourology, general urology, and urological oncology. He brings extensive surgical training and a strong academic background to his clinical work.
He earned his MBBS from St George’s, University of London in 2007 and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in 2010. Following specialist training in the East Midlands, he was awarded his FRCS (Urol) in 2017.
In 2018, Mr. Nkwam completed an advanced fellowship in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) and Endourology at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. He later performed the first HoLEP procedure at King’s College Hospital London in 2020—marking a major milestone in laser prostate surgery at the centre.
Mr. Nkwam is also active in research. He is completing an MPhil in Prostate Cancer Diagnostics at Nottingham Trent University and has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers, including seven as first author. His academic work has earned recognition with awards such as the East Midlands Trainee Medal (2017) and the Ian McCallum Research Prize (2018).
