We understand that this is due to personal, cultural, religious, or medical reasons, and we are here to support you with professionalism. We welcome families from all backgrounds, including Jewish and Islamic communities, for a private, respectful consultation.

All young patients will need a pre-operative consultation, which can be arranged on the same day as the procedure or beforehand.

There is no consultation fee if the circumcision is done on the same day.

Our full service includes:

• A consultation with the surgeon to review the procedure and answer any questions
• The procedure is performed in a fully equipped clinical setting in minor operation theatre
• Aftercare guidance and access to 24/7 emergency support if needed

For adolescents, we typically use one of the following methods:

• Forceps-guided
• Sleeve resection
• Freehand technique

The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, using dissolvable stitches or skin glue for a neater appearance and minimal discomfort.

Most adolescents recover smoothly with proper rest and care. Here’s what to expect:

After the Operation

• Some swelling or bruising is normal and will reduce over 1–2 weeks
• The bandage should be removed after 24 hours (extra supplies available from a pharmacy if needed)
• Skin glue will dissolve naturally in 5–10 days
• Showers are allowed after 24 hours—avoid baths until fully healed

Pain Relief

Pain is usually mild. Use the medications provided and avoid Aspirin, as it may increase the risk of bleeding.

Erections

Erections are natural. To reduce pressure on the healing site, it’s a good idea to empty the bladder before sleep.

Healing Time

• Most teens can return to school in about a week (light activity only)
• Avoid sports, swimming, cycling, and heavy exercise for at least three weeks
• Complete healing typically takes around six weeks
• A doctor’s note for school can be provided upon request

If there are any signs of infection or special conditions like BXO, additional medication may be required.
